Final Thoughts On Final Fantasy 16
Final Fantasy 16 is a wonderful game that is deep and generous in lore and character development. When I started playing my initial thoughts of this game was that it was going to have a theme of hope and friendship the story ff XIII 2 and ff XIII, but with the rapid time changes and learning about Clive's past it showed that I was far off. FF 16 compared to the other FF I've played is much more dark and showed lots of trauma that many characters endure. Lots of the cinematic were jaw dropping in both quality and story development and made gave players many reasons to grieve or respect there decision. One of my favorite characters out of all was Jill, due to the fact that she her self was symbolically and literally treated as a weapon of war. She herself lost all her family and was taken as a little girl with no choice. As she grieved the only way she could find peace was to kill her "father", but even after that she felt no peace, in the end "giving" her burden to Clive. This trauma "healed" but never went away, which is a sad reality in most cases to many people. FF 16 has given me a perspective that I've always wanted games to take and show how a game could be scary relatable in regards of video games character and to themselves. Over all I highly recommend this game to people who strive for a more "mature" Final Fantasy game.

3rd favorite ff game, after X and VII
overall... yeah I'd recommend it. But this game is linear and bland. Feels like an invisible hand is guiding you to where you need to go. there's no party management no true sense of wondering/discovery. combat is fun story is really good so far... but very low on the list of FF games, im bummed they didnt put more effort into the machanics that made all the previous ones fun.
